Job summary

National Care Group is seeking a Team Leader for a multi-site role based in Devon, with a 40-hour week and a £13.86 hourly rate plus a £1,000 joining bonus. Travel between seven sites is required and mileage is covered.

You will lead frontline staff to deliver person-centred care, ensuring quality of life and compliance across sites, while supporting individuals with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with mental health & learning disabilities.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team.
• 6 months experience in a Team Leader role.
• Driving Licence essential; travel across services.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for staff management and staff development.
• Lead the staff in promoting residents’ wellbeing, safety and quality of life.
• Monitor and assist delivery of activities addressing client goals and wellbeing.
• Coordinate liaison with external parties to ensure effective communication within the home.
• Work in line with company values, policies, procedures and national standards.
• Meet annual objectives; review internal quality compliance systems.
• Participate in on-call duties.

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our team at Atlantic Way, based in Devon, This will be a multi-site role and will require you to travel around our services based in Devon.

If you have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to working and are proactive & dedicated, you could be a great addition to the team!

Atlantic Way Care is spread over seven individual sites providing 24-hour support for individuals with a vast range of complex needs.

The Team Leader Role

As a Team Leader, you will promote and ensure that the company vision of person-centred support is implemented whilst maintaining an individuals potential and independence. You will be the front-line manager, whilst also ensuring all necessary back office duties are completed within compliance.

A Team Leader is required to respect and work cooperatively with others, enabling the people we support to live in their own home or within their local community with dignity and confidence. Responsibilities include:

• Overall responsibility for staff management and staff development.
• Leading the staff in promoting each individuals well-being, safety and quality of life.
• Monitor and assist the effective delivery of group and individual activities within homes that address agreed client goals and the progress of individuals against agreed outcome and well-being measures.
• Ensure that liaison with external parties within their areas of responsibility is coordinated effectively to ensure that communication is effective and consistent within the home.
• Work in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, legislation and national minimum standards.
• Meet agreed individual annual objectives.
• Promote each individuals well-being, safety and quality of life.
• Responsibility for completing and reviewing internal quality compliance systems.
• Participate in on call duties.

The Ideal Candidate

Has experience supporting adults with mental health & learning disabilities.

Able to motivate and manage a team.

Ideally has 6 months experience in a Team Leader Role.

Driving Licence essential as you will be travelling across our services.
