Job summary

Silver Birch Care Holdings is seeking a Team Leader to support young people in a stimulating, nurturing home environment at The Beeches UK. The role involves guiding daily life, contributing to care plans, and building strong relationships to foster independence and resilience.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 1 day on/2 days off rotation; sleep-ins included. Salary is £31,907 per annum, with overtime paid at time and a quarter after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people in care, education, or support setting preferred.
• Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Care or working towards.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Positive, resilient, and collaborative team player.
• Willing to work across shifts including sleep-ins.

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

Location: The Beeches UK

Hours: 40 hours per week (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)

Salary: £31,907 per annum

Shift Pattern: 1 day on, 2 days off rotation

Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter (x1.25) once the minimum 40 hours are worked

You will play a key role in young people's daily lives, helping them develop independence, resilience, and essential life skills. Experience in childcare or a related setting is preferred, and your knowledge and insight will directly shape the quality of care we provide.
