Job summary

Silver Birch Care Holdings is seeking a Residential Care Worker to support young people in daily living, building confidence, independence, and essential life skills. The role involves creating a warm, safe environment and working as part of a team across shifts, including sleep-ins.

The position offers 40 hours per week with sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts. Salary is £27,497 per year, plus sleep-in pay up to £700 monthly, overtime paid at time and a quarter after 40 hours.

• Experience working with children and young people (preferred).
• A genuine passion for supporting and caring for young people.
• Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (or willingness to work towards).
• A positive, resilient, and team-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

Location:The Beeches UK

Hours:40 hours per week (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)

Overtime:Paid at time and a quarter (x1.25) once the minimum 40 hours are worked
