Job summary

Leading Lives in Lowestoft is seeking a proactive Team Leader for the Independent Lives service. You will coach and support the North Independent Lives team, driving quality, culture and consistent delivery of person-centred care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and mentor your team.
  • Promote dignity, inclusion, and person-centred care.
  • Oversee quality through audits, medication checks, and supervisions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for daily team support.
  • Manage rota planning and support care planning to maintain high standards.
  • Provide out-of-hours support when needed.
  • Work flexibly, including alternate weekends and sleep-ins.
  • Support new referrals, including visits, tours, and assessments.
  • Build strong relationships with professionals and landlords.
  • Maintain Health & Safety standards and follow Leading Lives policies.
  • Promote a positive, open, and supportive team culture.
  • Work collaboratively with customers and professionals to shape services.

Job description

The Role: We're looking for a hardworking, proactive Team Leader to coach and support our North Independent Lives team in delivering meaningful social care. This role requires someone who can think on their feet, solve day-to-day challenges independently, and take ownership of operational decisions without direct Service Manager support. You'll be the vital link between team members and management-driving quality, culture, and consistency while ensuring our customers live the lives they choose.
