Job summary

Poundland in Lisburn is looking for a Team Leader to support the Store and Assistant Manager and help deliver a fantastic shopping experience for our customers every day.

You will lead a friendly team, manage deliveries and merchandising, and support daily operations to keep standards high on the shop floor and in the warehouse. We’ll help you build your retail career with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is required.
• Some leadership experience is a bonus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Energetic and organised with a positive attitude.

About The Role

Join us here at Poundlandas a Team Leader and you’ll play a key role in supporting the Store and Assistant Manager to lead the team and deliver a fantastic shopping experience for our customers every day.

You’ll help create a friendly, welcoming store where customers receive great service and colleagues feel supported on the shop floor to do their best work. From managing deliveries and merchandising, to supporting daily operations you’ll keep standards high on the shop floor and in the warehouse, you’ll be right at the heart of the action.

Working in a fast-paced retail environment, you’ll motivate the team, support store performance, and help ensure everything runs efficiently day to day.

A positive, proactive approach and strong teamwork skills are essential. You’ll be confident leading by example, supporting your colleagues to develop, and keeping the team focused on delivering great results. Retail experience is needed and some leadership experience would be a bonus but not essential, but most importantly we’re looking for someone with energy, organisation, and a passion for people and customer service. We’ll help you build on your skills with training and development opportunities to support your career with us.
