Job summary

Haulfryn is seeking a Leisure Team Leader to support the Leisure Manager in running the day-to-day operations of Finlake Holiday Park’s leisure facilities. The role requires overseeing team members including lifeguards, activity leaders, receptionists and cleaners, while maintaining high service standards.

With a 40-hour week and permanent contract, you’ll lead with energy, ensure safety, and deliver memorable guest experiences across gym, leisure and spa areas at Finlake Park.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Gym, leisure, fitness or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Focus on delivering great guest experiences.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in leisure operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support leisure team members including lifeguards, activity leaders, receptionists and cleaners.
• Provide visible leadership, driving high standards of service and professionalism.
• Oversee daily operations of the Gym, leisure and spa facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Maintain health and safety standards, including pool safety, facility checks and record keeping.
• Assist with the delivery of activities programme, supporting engaging sessions for guests.
• Mentor, train and support team development and performance.
• Handle guest queries and feedback, ensuring positive experiences and issue resolution.

What You’ll Do

• Strong leadership and communicationskills

• Knowledge of health and safetyregulationswithin leisure operations
• The ability towork flexiblehours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Desirable

• Level 2 Certificate in GymInstructing or a level 3 Diploma in Personal training

• First Aid at work
• Pool Plant Operators Certificate
• AValid RLSS NLPQ UKQualificationin Pool Lifeguarding
