Job summary

Liaise is seeking a Part Time Team Leader to guide and supervise carers, helping them deliver compassionate care while supporting vulnerable individuals. This role emphasizes strong communication, safeguarding, and professional conduct within a supportive team environment.

You will lead staff allocations, conduct appraisals, and foster teamwork, taking pride in delivering high-quality services and maintaining safety standards across the organisation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience supervising care staff is preferred.
• Demonstrated safeguarding responsibilities and adherence to health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise carers on a day-to-day basis and conduct regular staff appraisals.
• Ensure strong teamwork and effective communication across the service.
• Motivate, support and mentor staff as needed to maintain high care standards.
• Organise staff allocations and breaks to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Promote a professional image of the services through appropriate behaviour and appearance.

What you will be doing:

• Acting as a role model by leading and supervising carers day-to-day, working alongside them and completing regular staff appraisals.
• Ensure good team working.
• Motivate, support and mentor the staff when needed.
• Organising staff allocations and breaks
• Promote the professional image of the services through excellent communication, appropriate behaviour and professional appearance.

• Strong communication skills
• Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously
• Effective decision making and judgement
• Strong planning and organisation skills
• Successfully completed NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care (or equivalent)
