Job summary

CareTech Community Services Ltd in Gloucester seeks a Team Leader to oversee a team delivering person-centred support across three services. The role requires leading a Support Worker team, covering rota-based shifts and delivering high-quality care in line with individual support plans.

The post offers permanent, full-time hours at £13.79 per hour, with benefits and career progression opportunities within a large UK care provider.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience leading a Support Worker team.
• Experience in mental health & Learning Disabilities environments is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and written abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.

Team Leader

Gloucester
£13.79 per hour
Permanent | Full-time | 37.5 hours per week (rota-based)

This role will cover three of our services within our Gloucester DCA.

• Arts and crafts
• Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.
• Holidays and short breaks
• Walks in the local park and community
• Cooking and baking to develop life skills

The Role

You will:

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required

• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
