CareTech Community Services Ltd is seeking dedicated Support Workers in Gloucester to deliver person-centred care and assist individuals with daily living, activities, and community access. The role requires leadership experience and strong communication skills, with a focus on dignity and wellbeing.
You will work as part of a team on a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and potential sleep-ins, adhering to individual support plans.

Service User Interests The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences, including: Arts and crafts Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.
Holidays and short breaks Walks in the local park and community Cooking and baking to develop life skills The Role You will: Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing Support activities, appointments, and community access Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach.
You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
Requirements 12 Months Experience Leading a Support Worker Team Experience in mental health & Learning Disabilities environment Health & Social Care Level 3 Adults Excellent Communication Skills Ability to keep calm under pressure Passionate about making a difference to someone else's life Excellent Written Skills Good Leadership Skill
