Position: Team Leader

Location: Gloucester - GL3 4AQ

Shift Patterns: Friday-Sunday, Night shift (22:00-10:00), 12-hour shifts

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

What does the role entail?

• Lead daily performance, achieving customer KPIs and internal metrics (e.g., safety, operational, employee-related).
• Participate in Gemba Walks to identify improvement areas.
• Assist management by monitoring warehousing activities and performance.
• Supervise and coordinate productivity, communicating job expectations and ensuring deadlines are met safely and to standards.
• Use digital tracking software to monitor orders, maintaining accurate records.
• Participate in audits and implement action plans as needed.
• Investigate workplace incidents and escalate safety non-compliance issues.
• Conduct regular operational reviews and team briefings.

What do we need from you?

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience as a Team Leader or similar in an operational environment.
• Counter Balance forklift license (essential).
• Project management experience (desirable).
• Knowledge of supply chain practices.
• Experience with volume order preparation and distribution.
• Proficiency in logistics software.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills, with leadership abilities.
