Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a prison-based team at HMP Swaleside and HMP Standford Hill on the Isle of Sheppey. This permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours/week) involves line management, safeguarding compliance, and driving high-quality care within the healthcare and psychosocial support services.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)

• Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members.
• Work with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users, children and families who are at risk. Ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users.
• Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providing timely values-based feedback.

Change Grow Live are a charity dedicated to the belief that we can make a difference to our Service Users lives. Change Grow Live is responsible for delivering the contract to provide psychosocial intervention and transitional services across prisons in Kent. This service began on 1st April 2022 and offers a range of initiatives to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.

We are looking to recruit a passionate and committed individual to the role of Team Leader within HMP Swaleside and HMP Standford Hill.

HMP Swaleside is a Long Term High Security Category B men's prison, located on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent.

HMP Standford Hill is a D Category mens prison, located on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent.

Full Time Hours 37.5 per week.

Contract Type Permanent.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

This role is prison based and will require full prison vetting as part of the recruitment process.
