Job summary

Change Grow Live in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Team Leader to supervise a recovery co-ordinators team and provide strong operational leadership. You will oversee staff development, ensure person-centred support, and build partnerships with health and community services to improve outcomes.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours) on a fixed-term basis to 31 March 2028, with pro rata salary in the £36k–£38k range plus a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading and developing teams within mental health, health, social care, substance use or related services.
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices and embedding them operationally.
• Experience of working with local authorities, health and commissioning.
• Knowledge of local mental health pathways, drug and alcohol systems and housing services desirable.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for aTeamLeaderto join ourNottinghamshire Service. As part of our co-occurring mental health and substance use team, you will work flexibly and creatively to ensure what is needed to have the most positive impact for all who are referred to our service.

Responsibilities

About the role:

• Provide specialist consultation and guidance to internal colleagues and partner agencies regarding co-occurring mental health and substance use needs.

About you:

• Experience of leading and developing teams within mental health, health, social care, substance use or related services.
• Knowledge of delivering high-quality, outcome-focused services and managing performance effectively.
• Good understanding of substance misuse, recovery and the challenges faced by people with complex needs, including homelessness.
• Excellent knowledge of Adult and Children safeguarding policies and practices and experience of embedding these operationally.
• Experience of working collaboratively with local authorities, health and commissioning
• Knowledge of mental health pathways and legislations
• Knowledge of severe multiple disadvantages, trauma informed practice and psycholigically informed environments
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and support others.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of local mental health pathways, drug and alcohol systems and housing services would be desirable.
