Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, is seeking a Team Leader in Chester to oversee healthcare catering operations. This full-time role (40 hours) focuses on team supervision, delivering high-quality service, and ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met.

You’ll manage rosters, stock, and daily duties while supporting staff development and delivering excellent customer care in a demanding healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to lead by example.
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills.

• Ensuring deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a positive, welcoming environment.

• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Team Leader to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
