Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a part-time Retail Supervisor to help ensure smooth operations at a major High Street location. The role involves supervising frontline staff, handling till duties, and contributing to weekly rotas while meeting health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Check deliveries and store them promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and foster a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Operate till, take orders and handle payments.
• Assists with weekly bookwork and other duties.
• Create weekly rotas following manager guidance.
• Place stock orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and ensure the team stays proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Using the till, taking order and receiving payments
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our ideal Retail Supervisor will:

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
