Ashridge Court Care Centre, near Bexhill-on-Sea in East Sussex, is seeking a Team Leader to drive day-to-day leadership and delivery of care for up to 51 residents. You will work with the nursing and management team to maintain high standards of person-centred support.
You will lead shifts, supervise staff, coordinate care delivery, oversee care planning, medication administration, documentation and risk management, ensuring regulatory compliance and high performance.
Ashridge Court Care Centre is a bright, modern care home near Bexhill-on-Sea, set in the East Sussex countryside with sea views and peaceful gardens. The home provides high-quality general nursing care for up to 51 residents in spacious, well-furnished rooms, with compassionate support delivered with dignity, empathy and respect.
Role Overview
As Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day to day leadership and delivery of care within the home, ensuring residents receive safe, high quality and person centred support at all times. Working alongside the nursing and management team, you will help maintain standards, support compliance and ensure best practice is consistently followed.
You will lead shifts, supervise and support care staff, and take responsibility for the coordination of care delivery. This includes overseeing care planning, medication administration, documentation and risk management, ensuring all practices align with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
You will act as a role model within the team, promoting positive working practices, supporting staff development and ensuring a culture of respect, dignity and accountability. You will also contribute to audits, reviews and continuous improvement, helping to maintain a well run and high performing service.
