Job summary

North Northamptonshire Council is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead daily operations within social care/community services, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for customers and a high standard of service delivery.

You will supervise staff, develop their skills, oversee care planning and goal-setting reviews, maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and drive service improvements while upholding equality, safeguarding and health and safety best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading or supervising teams in social care or community services.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.
  • Experience with goal setting, care planning and service improvement.
  • Understands needs, rights and aspirations of people with reablement needs.
  • Able to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards.
