Job summary

ARNE is expanding its team at Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent, seeking a proactive Team Leader for a six-month fixed-term, part-time contract. You will help open and close the store, support daily operations and ensure a standout customer experience.

The role requires leadership on shift, mentoring newer colleagues, and maintaining high store standards while driving sales KPIs. Flexibility for weekends and evenings is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience, ideally within a team leader, senior sales or supervisory role.
• Confidence taking responsibility for opening, closing and supporting shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a naturally customer-focused approach.
• A genuine interest in fashion, retail and product.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and key trading periods.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the store safely and ensuring it is ready for trade
• Supporting daily operations, including stock, replenishment and visual merchandising
• Delivering an engaging, personal and knowledgeable customer experience
• Helping the team achieve sales goals and key performance indicators
• Supporting and guiding newer colleagues on shift
• Taking ownership of shift-related issues when managers are unavailable
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation

Role: Team Leader - ARNE | Six-Month Fixed-Term / Part Time Contract

Location: Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent

Salary: £15.24 per hour

Contract: PART TIME, six-month fixed-term contract

Start Date: ASAP - Opens Mid October

The Team Leader Role:

As a Team Leader, you will be a trusted part of the store leadership team. You will help open and close the store, support the day-to-day operation and ensure every customer receives the service ARNE is known for. This is not a role for someone who stands back and waits to be told what to do. You will be proactive, hands-on and ready to lead and support the team wherever needed.
