Job summary

Shaftesbury Aberystwyth is seeking a Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of Hafan Y Coed and Brodawel services in Aberystwyth. You will support staff and residents, ensuring a safe, caring environment. NVQ Level 3 health and social care or progression towards is required, with on-call duties and sleep-in coverage.

The role offers 40 hours per week, £13.50 per hour, and opportunities to grow within a dedicated disability care charity focusing on inclusion and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or willingness to work towards this qualification.
• Oversee day-to-day running of the service and supervise staff and people supported.
• Be part of the On Call rota and cover sleep-in sessions with £60 per sleep-in payment.

About the role

As a Team Leader it will be your duty to oversee the day to day running of the service. This will include supporting the staff team and the people supported.

We are looking for candidates who have obtained a NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or are willing to work towards this qualification.

There will be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.

As a Team Leader you will be required to be part of the On Call rota for the service. You will be paid an additional £10 per session.
