Job Description:

Time Type: Full Time

DSV is recruiting for a Weekend Cover Team Lead at Mercia Park. This role will be responsible for the operation of a section within the Warehouse function.

The main responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Management Team with daily warehouse operations, supervising a team of operators, and ensuring efficient operations to meet business targets.
• Providing line management, coordinating workloads, supporting team performance, and meeting KPIs and quality standards.
• Developing the team through performance management and fostering a safety culture.

Additional duties include:

• Ensuring inventory accuracy and stock movements are correctly recorded.
• Participating in stock takes and maintaining system accuracy.
• Identifying system improvements and resolving warehouse issues.
• Producing reports, planning capacity, and maintaining health and safety standards.
• Managing people issues such as attendance, performance, and welfare.

Experience required:

• Proven leadership skills as a Warehouse Team Leader.
• Good communication, IT skills, and understanding of warehouse systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety, security, and lean techniques is advantageous.

Qualifications:

• GCSEs Level A-C, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent.
• Relevant warehousing and supervisory qualifications are beneficial.
