Job summary

Little Ferns Early Learning Centre Canterbury seeks a Team Lead to support day-to-day operations, working with the Centre Manager and leadership team to guide learning spaces. You will help implement consistent teaching practices, plan programmes, and support kaiako development while building strong tamariki and whānau relationships.

Qualified and registered ECE teachers are invited to apply; leadership experience is advantageous, but we welcome experienced teachers ready to step up.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered ECE teacher required.
• Experience in leadership roles advantageous.
• Organised and proactive with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive and approachable leadership within the learning space.
• Support consistent teaching practices and expectations.
• Guide programme planning, assessment and intentional teaching.
• Support and develop kaiako (staff).
• Build strong relationships with tamariki and whānau.
• Contribute to centre-wide goals and ongoing improvement.
