Job summary

1st Homecare in Glasgow is seeking a proactive Team Coordinator to lead a skilled team across multiple services. The role focuses on delivering person-centred care, coordinating day-to-day operations, and ensuring high-quality support for people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, and mobility challenges.

You will manage staff rotas, conduct risk assessments and audits, supervise Support Workers, and liaise with social workers and families.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care desirable.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar social care role desirable.
• Experience in supervisory role with leadership to inspire and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, resilient, adaptable with strong problem solving.
• Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding.
• Driver with access to a vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Manage day-to-day operations including staff rotas, risk assessments, audits and health & safety compliance.
• Supervise and develop Support Workers, undertaking appraisals and performance management.
• Embed the Person-Centred Support and Enablement model across the service.
• Liaise with social workers, families and external agencies for outcomes.
• Deputise for the Service Manager when required and provide on-call support.
