In Stockport Eating Disorders Service we consider our admin team key to the ability of our clinicians to support our patients. They are a valued part of our structure. You will receive monthly high quality supervision to support people in their role and career aspirations. We try very hard to understand the difficulties and pressures working for an admin team within a complex clinical area like eating disorders. We also offer a monthly business meeting as an arena to discuss with our team anything that will improve our service. Within the team you will be working alongside an experienced administrator who will support you in your role and a group of friendly clinicians who have lots of experience working with this group of patients. The successful candidate will bring an organised and compassionate approach to their working life. The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this. The role will also involve administrative duties such as electronic filing and updating electronic patient records, monitoring the service email inbox, responding to emails, sending out and receiving letters, taking meeting minutes, dictation, organising appointments and utilising excel spreadsheets, using the printer/scanner. Please see the job description for greater detail on this. All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction / initial training requirements of the role. Whether you are just starting out in your career or looking to use your existing skills and experience in a new role, you'll find something to suit you at CWP.

The trust offers a Guaranteed Interview Scheme to any armed forces community applicants who meet the essential criteria for the post and encourages applications from armed forces reservists or cadet force adult volunteers. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £16 per year applies. The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
