Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a part-time, fixed-term lecturer in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching across bioengineering, design and manufacturing, while supporting assessment activities, marking, moderation and exam coordination.

You will supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects and contribute to student experience and accreditation. The post is 18 months at 0.5 FTE.

Qualifications

• Deliver high-quality teaching across bioengineering, design and manufacturing.
• Support assessment activities including marking, moderation and exam coordination.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate level projects and contribute to student experience and accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across core and specialist MAE topics.
• Contribute to content delivery and coordination in manufacturing and bioengineering.
• Support academic quality assurance and enhancement activities.
