Job summary

Innsworthinfant in Twigworth is looking for committed Teaching Assistants for permanent positions. You will provide general support in classes and the Nest provision for children with additional needs. Ideal candidates will have experience with infants, strategies for behaviour management, and a passion for improving children's learning experiences. The school offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development, and visits to the school are encouraged.

Job description

Full school hours (08:45 to 15:20) 28.75 per week
Contract :Permanent
Interview date: Thursday 21st May
Start Date September 2026

The Innsworth Partnership are seeking to employ further Teaching Assistants to work at the Infant School. Roles will include general TA support within classes and our Nest provision for children with additional needs.

  • Have knowledge and experience of working with children in the infant phase including those with SEND
  • Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards
  • Have a good working knowledge of behaviour management and strategies to help children self-regulate
  • Commitment to supporting children’s engagement with learning
  • Passion for developing strategies that enable children to overcome barriers to learning in order to become successful learners.
