Job summary

Morriston Comprehensive, part of Swansea Council, is recruiting an ALN Teaching Assistant Level 2 on a pro rata salary of £26,427–£26,847. This temporary maternity cover role runs 28.8 hours per week across a 39-week contract. You will join a team supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs and those in our Specialist Teaching Facility.

DBS check and health questionnaire are required prior to start. The successful candidate should be hardworking, willing to learn and a good team player,

• Supports pupils with ALN and those in STF.
• Works as part of a TA team to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and STF students.
• Assist teaching staff in classroom activities and supervision.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team of Teaching Assistants and will support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and those in our Specialist Teaching Facility (STF).
