Job summary

The Propeller Academy Trust is seeking caring, motivated Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SLD, PMLD and ASD. Join a warm, therapeutic environment and help students achieve their potential through individualized learning and collaborative teamwork.

We value experience in SEN settings, flexible working options, and strong collaboration with families and therapists. A full induction and ongoing CPD are provided within a supportive school culture.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and maths (Grade 4/C or equivalent).
• Experience supporting children or young people in school, care or youth work.
• Desirable experience with EHCPs or additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with learning activities, therapy programmes and IEP targets
• Support enrichment activities (swimming, PE, community visits, horse riding)
• Provide personal and intimate care when needed
• Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and independence
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, families and therapists
