Job summary

Empowering Learning Group in Ripon is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary pupils in the classroom. You will help learners develop reading, writing and numeracy skills and work closely with teachers to create a safe, welcoming learning environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, engaging and patient, with a passion for helping children thrive. DBS checks are required and you will join a friendly team across local primary schools.

Qualifications

• Provide professional references covering your work and/or education history for the last 2 years.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply and pay for a new Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development in primary school classrooms.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
