Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking Teaching Assistants to support primary students in the Sowerby area. You will assist teachers, engage with pupils, and help them thrive in the classroom. The role requires enthusiasm, reliability, and confidence in a busy school environment.

Ideal candidates will have DBS clearance or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS check and provide references covering the last 2 years. Location: Sowerby and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary school children preferred.
• DBS Enhanced certificate or willingness to apply.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Support individual and small groups to develop basic skills.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and routines.
