Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools in Bath, including mainstream primary and secondary sites, and SEN provisions. Roles across full-time and part-time hours offer variety and the chance to make a real difference in children’s lives.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children in educational or care settings, be patient and adaptable, and enjoy teamwork.

We're looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of fantastic schools, including mainstream primary and secondary schools, specialist SEN provisions, and SEMH settings.

Whether you've worked as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Youth Worker, Behaviour Mentor, Tutor, Sports Coach, or in another role supporting children and young people, your experience could be exactly what schools are looking for.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting pupils in the classroom, both one-to-one and in small groups.
• Helping children with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Building positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement throughout the school day.
• Working closely with teachers and school staff to create positive learning experiences.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
