Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd seeks enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools in Bath and surrounding areas. Roles include mainstream primary and secondary schools, specialist SEN provisions, and SEMH settings.

The position offers variety and a real opportunity to make a difference in children’s lives. Applicants may have backgrounds as Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Youth Workers, or similar roles supporting children and young people.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom, both one-to-one and in small groups.
  • Helping children with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Building positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement throughout the school day.
  • Working closely with teachers and school staff to create positive learning experiences.

Teaching Assistant

Whether you've worked as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Youth Worker, Behaviour Mentor, Tutor, Sports Coach, or in another role supporting children and young people, your experience could be exactly what schools are looking for.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
