Personal Care Assistant - Chepstow:

Prospero Teaching are currently working with a large SEN provision in the Chepstow area, to recruit for personal care assistants to start ASAP. This is a long-term position with a likelihood of going permanent for the successful candidate.

Position Details:

• Location: Chepstow, Monmouthshire
• Position: Personal Care Teaching Assistant
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time only
• Minimum Rate of Pay: 67 per day,
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing/Temp to Perm

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential, whether it be adult or child, care or school setting
• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
• Manual Handling training is highly desired
• Child and Adult DBS on the update service, or willingness to get one
• Team Teach training is highly desired

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
