Job summary

River Beach Primary School in West Sussex is seeking a Teaching Assistant with Midday Meals Duties to join our friendly team. The post is permanent, term time only plus 2 INSET days, with 25 hours per week plus 3.75 hours for midday meals. Work pattern is Monday to Friday.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children in an educational setting and, ideally, experience with pupils with special educational needs, showing a caring and proactive approach to supporting learning and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in an educational setting.
• Experience with SEN is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide midday meals duties as part of the role.
• Assist teaching staff in supporting pupil learning and behaviour in the classroom.

Salary: £NJC Grade 3, SCP3 . £25,614p.a. pro rata,

Actual Starting Salary: £16,917p.a.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, positive, dedicated, caring, emotionally intelligent team player to join our friendly, supportive and committed team as a Teaching Assistant within our team..

Ideally you are already a Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children in an educational setting and/or have other experience in working with children with special educational needs and are looking to progress your career in to education.
