Job summary

Progress Schools, part of The Progress Group, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support academics and student wellbeing in an inclusive classroom. You will assist teachers, work with pupils with diverse needs, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

GCSEs in Maths and English (C/4 or above) are required, with prior education experience and a commitment to equality, safeguarding, and wellbeing across our school community.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths and English C or 4 grade or above (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of alternative provision and dealing with students with special needs.
• Experience in an education setting or equivalent.
• Professional communication with students and staff.
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, wellbeing and British values.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and provide academic support.
• Provide pastoral mentoring and support student wellbeing.
