Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking flexible Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Cardiff. You’ll work in a variety of schools, helping children from Nursery to Year 6 and assisting with learning tasks to build confidence and enthusiasm.

You’ll select days to work and book availability through our app, with options from one day a week up to five. If you enjoy varied environments and helping pupils, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• No prior Teaching Assistant experience required.
• You should be confident, approachable and enjoy working with young people.
• Experience working with children in any capacity is welcomed.

What we're looking for

You don't necessarily need previous experience as a Teaching Assistant. If you've worked with children in any capacity, we'd love to hear from you.

This could include:

• Childcare or nursery work
• Coaching or sports activities
• Youth work
• Holiday clubs
• Play schemes
• Residential care
• Tutoring
• Volunteering with children
• Supporting children with additional learning needs

The most important thing is that you're confident, approachable, adaptable, and genuinely enjoy working with young people.

The role

As one of our flexible Teaching Assistants, you'll:

Getting around Cardiff

Our schools are based across Cardiff, so being able to travel is important. If you have access to a car, that's great, but it isn't essential. Many of our placements are accessible via public transport, so we're happy to hear from candidates who are comfortable travelling around the city.
