Job summary

Outwood Academy Ormesby in Middlesbrough seeks a Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis to support learners and help remove barriers to learning. The role runs 32.5 hours per week, 8:15am–3:15pm, term time + 5 days, with a start date as soon as possible and a fixed end date of 31 August 2027.

You will work with teachers to deliver tailored activities, support SEND/EAL students and assist with developing individual student plans, welfare and academic progress.

Qualifications

• Support learners directly with tailored learning activities and welfare support.
• Assist with intervention management including for SEND and EAL students.
• Help develop individualized student support plans.
