Job summary

Cedar Children's Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant on a one-year fixed-term basis to join our team. You will provide teaching and learning support under the guidance of the class teacher, helping pupils across the curriculum and recording progress.

You will supervise pupils at breaks, ensure safety, promote positive behaviour and independence, and support visits and practical learning across the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learning in a primary school setting.
• Ability to assist teacher with observation, progress recording and interventions.
• Willingness to supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes and visits.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with teaching and learning across the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and interventions.
• Supervise pupils at break/lunchtime and on educational visits; promote positive behaviour and safety.
