Cedar Children's Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant on a one-year fixed-term basis to join our team. You will provide teaching and learning support under the guidance of the class teacher, helping pupils across the curriculum and recording progress.
You will supervise pupils at breaks, ensure safety, promote positive behaviour and independence, and support visits and practical learning across the school day.
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team at Cedar Children’s Academy, on a fixed term basis. The successful applicant will provide teaching and learning support, under the guidance of the class teacher, to pupils in all areas of the curriculum. They will assist the teacher with observation and monitoring of the progress of pupils, maintaining accurate records in order to ensure documentation of all interventions with pupils, detailing their progress and achievement.
The Teaching Assistant will assist in the supervision of pupils and promote learning and safety, for example, at break and lunch times and on educational visits, promoting positive behaviour patterns, raising self-esteem and improving independent working in pupils to assist in their education and growth.
