Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in South Bristol, with hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The school seeks a patient, reliable candidate who can build strong relationships with children and support those with additional needs throughout the day. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support learning, transitions and routines, helping children stay engaged and develop social and communication skills within a nurturing

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEN (ideally).
• A calm, patient and reassuring approach.
• Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to build trust with children.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to safeguarding.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

Teaching Assistant - South Bristol - Full Time

Location: South Bristol
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

We are working with a primary school in South Bristol who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school is keen to hear from people who can build strong, trusting relationships with children and bring patience and consistency to the classroom, and the role is available to start whenever the right person is ready.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils to access classroom learning and stay engaged with activities
• Working with individuals and small groups as needed
• Supporting children with additional needs where required
• Helping with transitions, daily routines and tasks throughout the school day
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours
• Supporting social skills, communication and emotional regulation
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to track progress

We Are Looking For:

• Experience working with children in a school setting (essential)
• Experience supporting children with SEN (ideally)
