Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 2 – Complex Needs – September Start
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with complex learning needs? This local special school with an excellent reputation in the community is looking for Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants to join their team from September, working with Key Stage 2 pupils who require specialist support.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated and skilled team in a nurturing school environment. You will be working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support to pupils with a range of needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and physical disabilities. The successful candidate must have experience supporting children with special educational needs and a calm, compassionate approach to their work.

Job Role:

  • Supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 with complex learning and communication needs
  • Delivering 1:1 and small group support under the guidance of the class teacher
  • Assisting with personal care and supporting pupils’ independence
  • Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with staff and therapists to meet the needs of each pupil
