Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups in Wirral, Merseyside, UK. The role involves supervising learning activities and promoting inclusive education.

You will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and progress in a safe environment, while following safeguarding policies and liaising with parents and external professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children (school, SEND or care setting).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, therapists and external professionals
• Support personal care or medical needs where required
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
