Job summary

Bridport Primary School, part of Dorset Council, seeks two Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team. The role is 30 hours per week over 38.4 weeks, supporting teaching and learning including pupils with EHC plans and SEND.

Ideal candidates will show discretion, empathy, and strong communication, with adaptability and resilience to thrive in a busy primary environment. A driving licence and own transport are essential for travel across our sites.

Qualifications

• Discretion, empathy, professionalism and good communication skills.
• Ability to support learning across the school and work with children with EHC Plans and those on the SEND register.
• Desirable understanding of learning difficulties and experience with young people in an educational setting.
