Teaching Assistant – SEN School
Location: Penarth
Salary: From £89.38 per day
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for permanent opportunities)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people?

Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist SEN school, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support students in small groups and one-to-one settings

Help to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored learning plans

Encourage independence and emotional wellbeing in students

About You:

Experience working with children or young people is desirable, but not essential

A positive, patient, and resilient attitude is key

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

A genuine interest in supporting students with special educational needs
