Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEN- ASC/ADHD)

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM

About Us: We are working with inclusive schools in the areas mentioned above. The schools are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for all students. Therefore, they are currently seeking compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team.

Job Description: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with autism and ADHD. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the educational and social development of students.
  • Providing one-on-one support to children with special educational needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting students in developing social skills and managing their behavior.

Key Attributes:

  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with autism and physical disabilities.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children with autism and ADHD is essential. This can include personal experience.
  • Experience in a school or nursery setting is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Nursery Nurse qualification is also preferred.

Additional Information:

  • You will be part of a team supporting reduced classes, with 6-8 children per class.
  • We offer extensive in-house training and free online training through our learning platform.
