Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEN - ASC/ADHD)

Location: Epsom / Walton-on-Thames / Twickenham Area

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM

We work with inclusive schools in the above areas. These schools are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for all students. We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team.

Job Description:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with autism and ADHD. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the educational and social development of students.
  • Providing one-on-one support to children with special educational needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting students in developing social skills and managing behavior.

  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Genuine passion for supporting children with autism and disabilities.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with children with autism and ADHD is essential, including personal experience.
  • Experience in a school or nursery setting is preferred.
Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Nursery Nurse qualification is preferred.
Additional Information:
  • You will support small classes of 6-8 children.
  • We provide extensive in-house training and free online training via our learning platform.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is temporary, with potential for permanent placement later.
