Job summary

The Bicester School in Oxfordshire is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Support Team on a term-time only basis, 30 hours per week, starting November 2026. The role focuses on supporting SEND students and guiding pupils to access learning with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You will split your time between small group work in the department and assisting students in lessons across the school, with safeguarding a key responsibility.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Support Team for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team-orientated school graded as 'Good' in all categories (Ofsted March 2024). The vacancy is on a part-time, term time only basis working 30 hours per week, starting in November 2026.

The ideal candidate would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the pupils to achieve. Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with SEMH may be an advantage. Your work will be divided between working with students in small groups in the department and in the wider school supporting students in their lessons in order that they are able to access the learning.

Salary Details: £18,558.39 to £19,780.71 per annum (Pro Rata of £26,403 to £28,142)
