Axcis Education is seeking a teaching assistant for a secondary school located on the outskirts of Chorley. The school offers provisions for KS3 and KS4 students across various subjects. They are looking for a full-time teaching assistant to join their expanding SEND department, ideally seeking a long-term commitment for the upcoming academic year.
The role involves providing 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs and challenging behaviors, including autism, ADHD, SEMH difficulties, and other behavioral challenges. The successful candidate should be confident, eager to make a positive impact, and experienced working with secondary-aged students.
The position is scheduled to start in September, with a potential for permanent employment. The working hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £99 per day.
