Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Bolton on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils, helping them access learning and stay engaged.

You will work closely with teachers to deliver interventions, encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, inclusive classroom. The role suits someone with literacy and numeracy skills and a desire to support pupil progress in a friendly school

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a school, college or wider education environment is desirable.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in education, childcare, youth work or a related area — or relevant practical experience.
  • Able to build positive relationships with young people and work collaboratively with teaching staff.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
