Job summary

Green Meadows Academy, part of the Wellspring Academy Trust, is a generic special school with two sites and several partnerships in Guiseley. We are seeking Casual Teaching Assistants to work on a relief basis and to be available for work as and when required.

Start date: ASAP. We offer DBS checks, safeguarding procedures, and opportunities for professional development within our supportive, collaborative team across our partnership sites.

Qualifications

• We require skilled, enthusiastic people who are willing to learn.
• Support teaching and learning and address the personal needs of our pupils, many of which have complex medical needs.
• You will need to be flexible and adaptable, a good communicator, cheerful, calm and work as part of our team.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning and address personal needs of pupils on a relief basis.
• Work as part of our team with flexibility to cover available shifts.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of pupils as part of the school community.

Pay Grade B1 (Point 4-6) Actual starting salary: £13.52 per hour

To work on a relief basis, to work as and when required/available.

Green Meadows Academy, part of the Wellspring Academy Trust, is a generic special school based on two sites and 3 partnerships - Green Meadows Primary and Green Meadows Secondary are both based in Guiseley.

Our partnership sites are based in the following schools;

• Rawdon St Peter's Primary School.
• Benton Park High School.
• Allerton High School.
