Job summary

Holycroft Primary School invites applications for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our new Resourced Provision, The Nest, supporting pupils with Communication and Interaction needs. You will work closely with teachers, SEND professionals and the wider school team to help children access learning, build confidence and reach their full potential in a safe and inclusive setting.

As part of a collaborative team, you will support pupils in small groups and individually, assist with EHCP targets

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning activities under the direction of teaching staff.
• Work with pupils individually and in small groups.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and communication development.
• Assist with EHCP targets, behaviour support plans and personalised learning programmes.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and SEND staff.
• Help create a positive, engaging and purposeful learning environment.
• Support pupils during lessons, breaktimes, educational visits and wider school activities.
