Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting Teaching Assistants to join our team in the Grantham (NG31) area on a flexible basis. You will support pupils across the full primary curriculum on a day-to-day and long-term basis, with potential 1-1 support where needed.

Key responsibilities include assisting with lesson delivery, supporting individuals or small groups, maintaining a safe learning environment, and helping with materials and classroom resources.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is essential within the UK.
  • Genuine interest in working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to diverse needs of students.
  • Basic administrative and organisational skills.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support to teachers, including assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support and intervention.
  • Help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and managing classroom resources.
  • Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their requirements.
  • Supervise students during break times, outings, and other activities as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their development and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Take your career to the next level! Aspire People are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to join us very soon on a FLEXIBLE basis in the Grantham (NG31) area.

Our schools are looking for a person/s to provide effective support to their pupils across the full primary curriculum on a day to day and long-term basis. There are currently multiple opportunities available on both a full and part-time basis and if required may include elements of 1-1 support depending on needs.

Key Responsibilities
